UNIFORMS

Uniforms are a very important part of the boys identity while they are in Cub Scouts. The uniform promtes a sense of belonging and helps develope a strong sense of well being. Often you will find that the boy(s) are comparing uniforms, awards, ranks and electives with each other.

Within Pack 38 we ask that all boys be uniformed at all Pack and Den activities as well as all Pack Leaders. We do not require the full uniform to be worn. Below is a list of the uniform pieces your son will need to have.

1) Blue Uniform shirt for Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos I scouts, Tan unifrom shirts for Webelos II scouts and scout leaders. It may be short sleeve or long sleeve, we recommend short sleeve and we recommend that you purchase a shirt with a little growing room.

2) Rank specific hat. If your son is a Tiger Cub then he will need a Tiger Cub Hat, please remember to watch the sizing of the hat as you do not want to get one that is too small.

3) Rank specific neckerchief and slider.

4) Uniform patches that you will need to have are the Council Patch, World Crest, Pack numerals and for leaders you will also need you rank of office.
